Traditionally used in Japanese joinery for the trimming of plugs or bamboo nails flush with a surface, the Niwaki Flush Cutting Saw flush can be used where you want to cut off a projection without damaging the surrounding or adjoining face.
Depending on the type of cut you would like to make, you can choose the 1.0mm fine teeth pitch for hardwoods or the coarser 1.3mm teeth for softwoods. The thin blade is flexible and can be pressed flush to any surface, yet is rigid enough for good control flushing down tenons or any protruding joint.
Perfect for general timbers, laminated wood or Bamboo.
